Development for Southeast Asian Countries
"Training Program on BRI Exceptional Leading Talent.", hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and organized by Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU), commenced on 7 November, 2024.
Prof. Chong Shyue Chuan, Director of the SME Centre, and Dr. Tan Hui Yin, Dean of Faculty of Applied Science actively participated in this initiative.
This intensive 6-day training program combines classroom lectures, professional practices, cultural experiences, and field visits. Participants will explore Chinese expertise in leadership development and visit key sites such as the Yiwu Trade City, Leapmotor, and the Jinhua "Eight Immortals Prosperity Belt." Additionally, they will experience traditional Chinese culture, including a performance of Wuju Opera, to gain a deeper understanding of China’s rich heritage and modern achievements.
